We dove in this week discussing contour lines,
blind contour, shapes that make up a face, shading,
and Frida Kahlos portraiture.
We experimented with vine charcoal.
Kids did some looking and studying by
pairing up and drawing each other.
We finished with sitting down and
making a self portrait.
One chose to do an animal portrait and
did a drawing of our class mascot
the dauschund "Turkey Legs".
